MJF On Alec Price And Jordan Oliver: I Really Think They’re Going To Be Special

MJF is excited for the future of Alec Price and Jordan Oliver.

Following his match at Limitless Wrestling’s Limitless Rumble event, MJF announced that both Alec Price and Jordan Oliver were being signed by AEW. This news was celebrated in the world of independent wrestling, as Price and Oliver have been grinding away for years at this point.

Speaking with Fightful and Down Under The Ring for a new interview, MJF was asked about facing Price at the Limitless event and why he chose to take part in that match.

“I did it because my boss was interested in two young talents that I’ve actually known for a very long time in Alec Price and Jordan Oliver. I’ve always thought highly of them but I’ve never truly known if they had what it took to be elite. To be elite means being the best professional wrestler in the world. To be elite means being a part of a select group of individuals that get television time on Wednesday nights and Saturday nights. To be elite means to be the cream of the crop. So I needed to find out for my boss. I wrestled this kid, I successfully defended my AEW World Championship against him at Limitless Wrestling and I got to say, the kid’s got balls. He’s got charisma for days. I really think they’re going to be special. I think in two to three years time, if those guys really train hard and get themselves in the gym, put some mass on, these guys are going to be legitimate contenders for the tag team division of our promotion.”
