MJF defeats Hangman Adam Page at AEW Revolution 2026

After a series of returns, surprises, and title changes, it was finally time for the main event between Hangman Adam Page and MJF for the AEW World Championship. This was a Last Chance Texas Deathmatch with no time limits, no disqualifications, and no match stoppage. The only way to defeat your opponent was either via submission or a ten-count knockout.

A video package was shown before MJF’s entrance, where he was riding through a town on a horse. MJF urinated on Hangman’s “grave” before appearing on the show. He wore Terry Funk-inspired gear for this match.

It was also MJF’s birthday yesterday, so Hangman Adam Page drove a staple with a “Happy Birthday” card right into his chest.

Later, Hangman brought a glass panel to the ring, but MJF shattered it. It backfired on him, however, as Adam Page dragged him through the glass shards. He hit MJF with barbed wire, and the World Champion started bleeding.

A gruesome spot in the match saw MJF drive a syringe through Hangman’s cheeks as well. Some time later, Hangman smashed a light tube over the head of MJF and also put skewers into his head.

Page put a double dog collar on himself and MJF. The champion tried to leave, screaming “Not again,” but he was pulled back to the ring.

Towards the end, MJF hit Hangman with the AEW World Title, and the referee began counting. At the very last second, Hangman got up and low-blowed MJF. Then he used MJF’s title to hit him in the head.

As Hangman tried to go for Buckshot Lariat, MJF attacked him with the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Then, he strangled Hangman with the dog collar around his throat. After that, Page fell to the floor, and the referee began counting.

This time, Hangman Adam Page didn’t get up, and MJF retained his AEW World Championship. As per the stipulation, Hangman won’t be able to challenge for the AEW World Title ever again.
