MJF comments on Wardlow.
Before MJF stepped in the ring with Wardlow at AEW Double or Nothing, there was concern MJF may not show up for the bout as he skipped the fan fest and reportedly booked a plane ticket out of Las Vegas. Even Wardlow was unsure if he would be wrestling that night.
MJF did show up and was quickly defeated by Wardlow. On the subsequent episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF, who was stretchered out of AEW Double or Nothing, cut his infamous promo where he addressed his issues with AEW and Tony Khan before disappearing from television for three months.
Wardlow has since said that there was "so much that ruined" his Double or Nothing moment.
Appearing on Rasslin', MJF had some comments for Wardlow.
"You can throw that in the bin," MJF said about a Pinnacle t-shirt. "Fuck Wardlow, I can tell you that much. Oh, Wardlow, here's the world's smallest violin for me getting you insanely over. [Plays finger violin]. Your life is so hard. Ohhh."
Wardlow would go on to win the AEW TNT Championship on the July 6 episode of AEW Dynamite.
MJF returned at AEW All Out after being away for three months, winning the Casino Ladder match. While making the media rounds, MJF addressed his absence and return. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
