MJF has both ‘Maxwell Jacob Friedman’ and ‘MJF’ trademarked.

Going into the 2026 AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view, Tony Maglio of The Hollywood Reporter pushed out a feature piece about MJF.

During the Q&A, MJF shared that he has both ‘Maxwell Jacob Friedman’ and ‘MJF’ fully trademarked.

“I have it fully trademarked, both options.” He continued, “We are definitely a more workers’-rights-focused professional wrestling company, and that’s not me taking a shot, it’s just a fact.”

In the main event of Double or Nothing, MJF defeated Darby Allin to become a three-time AEW World Champion. The stipulation was that if MJF lost, he would get his head shaved.
