MJF: I Think Mick Foley Was The Blueprint Of What Darby Allin Is Now, Which Makes Me Hate Him Even More

MJF is asked about the potential of Mick Foley turning up in AEW, noting his hatred for the WWE legend.

Mick Foley announced at the end of last year that he would no longer be appearing on WWE television due to the companies ties to the Donald Trump administration. Earlier this month, it was reported the AEW had expressed an interest in working with Foley, but it was not clear whether it would be for a single appearance or an extended deal with the company.

While speaking to Jon Alba in a new interview, MJF was asked what he thinks of Mick Foley, with the former AEW World Champion noting that he believes Foley was the blueprint for what Darby Allin is now.

“I think Mick Foley is fat and he’s ugly, and I think he was the blueprint of what Darby Allin is now, which makes me hate him even more. That’s what I think of Mick Foley.”

Foley and MJF have previously discussed the idea of doing a program building to Foley’s last match in the past but the plans never came to pass on screen.
