MJF: I Thought I Was Going To Be A Kane-Like Character, Then I Grew Out Of Being A Loser

MJF might not like video games, but he has enjoyed wrestling video games.

With any wrestling video game comes create-a-wrestler where fans can create their favorite real-life wrestlers who aren't in the game or create their own wrestling persona.

Fans know current MJF as rich, cocky, and being the salt of the earth, but that wasn't his original idea when he was a young MJF playing wrestling video games.

"I always thought that I was going to be this dark, brooding, black face paint around the eyes, Kane-like, Legion of Doom-esque character and the character name was Mad Max and I remember, I always gave my guy a red mohawk with long tights, black boots, and a skull with a big leather jacket. Then, I grew out of being a complete fucking loser and I realized I should just be myself and start making Maxwell Jacob Friedman, a fun-loving guy that everyone likes. Beloved by all and has a little bit of money. Not a lot, but a comfortable amount of money," MJF said on the Game Marks podcast.

Elsewhere during the podcast, MJF explained why he won't do motion capture for video games. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
