MJF would seem to cause headaches for management given his brash personality and ability to get under the skin of seemingly everyone.
Whether he needs time off for a hangnail, is making fun of children or is needling someone so much that they feel forced to walk out on his friends; MJF is arguably the least liked member of the AEW roster. Despite his penchant for pissing people off, AEW President Tony Khan is a big fan.
At least, according to MJF.
"I have never gotten 'heat' from management. Tony Khan understands that we're best buds. Me and T-Kizzle, we go way back, and Tony knows where his bread is buttered. I'm going to be the face of this company for the next 25 years. If Daddy needs to stay out because his hangnail is hurt, you're going to let Daddy stay out for a little bit. That's just how it works," said MJF on the Wrestling Perspective podcast.
MJF has found himself in a top position in AEW is just a short period of time as he's already challenged for the AEW World Title and is set to challenge for the AEW Tag Team Titles alongside Chris Jericho at AEW Revolution.
