MJF: I Want To Use The Positive Advice Of Veterans, And Then When They Die I Will Not Care

Maxwell Jacob Friedman firmly believes he will one day be AEW World Champion, not that you should be surprised by his self-confidence. However, even with all that self-confidence, he does take time to get pointers from veterans of the squared circle.

Speaking to News Chief in Winter Haven, Florida, MJF Spoke openly about WWE Hall of Famer, Bully Ray giving him feedback on his work.

"Bubba [Ray Dudley] will contact me to give me his thoughts. There are some vets out there, that are like old dogs. They want to be fed treats to feel important. Then there are vets that are out there that can benefit you. I want to use them, and then when they die I will not care, and I’m going to make sure the business is in good hands," said MJF. "I came into the company as a relative unknown to being one of the most talked-about wrestlers on the planet, that’s unheard of. Much sooner rather than later, put all your chips on it, MJF is going to be AEW world champion."

Maxwell took another step into the main event scene by agreeing to face Cody at AEW Revolution. He did, of course, provide a few stipulations that Cody has to adhere to in order to actually make sure the match takes place. Learn more about that here.
