MJF: “It’s A New Day, Yes It Is”
MJF reacts to the news.
There were WWE talent departures on May 2nd, and it was confirmed by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp and Bodyslam.net’s Cory Hayes that WWE and New Day mutually agreed to part ways.

Former two-time AEW World Champion MJF caught wind of the news and took to his Instagram Story to write, “It’s a new day, yes it is.”
It is well known that on the lead-up to the first ALL IN in 2018, The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) and The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) tried to set up a match, but it was not cleared.
In the summer of 2018, the two trios did a Street Fighter gaming stream. WWE promoted that on their website.
