While MJF is well known in the wrestling world already thanks to his run in All Elite Wrestling where he is now a multi time world champion, he has also featured in several movies in his career so far, including the likes of Happy Gilmore 2 and the upcoming Violent Night sequel. Now, a movie that he was cast in back in 2024 has a new trailer, with other familiar faces for wrestling fans featuring as part of the cast.
On September 17th, Collider would exclusively reveal the first trailer for ‘Stranglehold’, a dark comedy thriller that features not only MJF, but Kayla Becker (formerly Braxton) and former WCW World Champion David Arquette. In the trailer, the strip club where Max’s character works is taken over by thieves, with the former AEW World Champion popping up from behind the bar with a shotgun, shouting like he’s just taken a move in the ring.
