MJF, being the salt of the earth guy that he is, had warm greetings for The Elite on the latest episode of Being The Elite. However, MJF, being the scumbag that he is, had a very cold warning for Kenny Omega.
The 368th episode of Being The Elite featured a cold open where Maxwell Jacob Friedman came into The Elite's locker room. Max had glowing words for Matt and Nick Jackson, remarking that he had recently put them over on Twitter and calling them the best tag team.
MJF approached Kenny Omega innocently enough. Both men commiserated over being attacked on Dynamite, Max by Jay White, and Kenny by Powerhouse Hobbs. Just when it seemed like the moment would end in a hug between Max and Kenny, MJF whispered in Kenny's ear a very clear message.
"26 days, you fuckin' bitch," he said.

While Max did not explain himself and left the room after giving The Young Bucks high fives as they remarked that maybe Adam Cole was right about Max changing, Omega appeared perplexed and wondered what was coming in a little more than three weeks.
Currently, Max is 23 days away from breaking Kenny Omega's record. Max has been AEW World Champion for 324 days, capturing the championship from Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear 2022. Kenny Omega was Champion for a total of 346 days, capturing the title at AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming 2020 and losing the championship to Adam Page at AEW Full Gear 2021.
Suffice to say, Max is making sure Kenny sleeps with one eye open and reminding everyone that the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was making people think he didn't exist.
