MJF previews having to step foot in a Texas Deathmatch at AEW Revolution on Sunday evening.
At AEW Revolution this Sunday, MJF will defend the AEW World Championship against Hangman in a Texas Deathmatch where if Page loses, he will never be allowed to challenge for the championship again.
While speaking to 107.7 The Bone in a new interview, MJF discussed how he is feeling heading into Texas Death.
“Look, it’s complicated. You know, a part of me is obviously upset. I don’t believe in this kind of professional wrestling. I think this kind of professional wrestling is hack and very indie and trash and garbage, which is why Hangman loves to do it. But the part of me that is happy is I really know for a fact I’m going to win. There’s no part of me that’s questioning that. The idea of ensuring that he could never be world champion again, just literally, if you see this belt move, it’s because I can get hard just at the thought of it. I mean, honestly, it’s incredible.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, MJF spoke about wrestles competing into their 50s and 60s. You can read more about that here.
