“I’m excited,” said Wardlow. “Punk has put on bangers with a large portion of our roster. But this isn’t going to be a banger. This is going to be me powerbombing him repeatedly.

“It’s going to be wild. And even if I don’t say a word, I do plan on getting my point across.”

Ring of Honor and I have been trying to work together in some capacity for the entire time that I've been at IMPACT. Obviously I have to go through IMPACT and they have to give the 'OK'. But for them to finally agree on terms and be like 'we're doing it.' I was so thrilled. Ring of Honor is where I kinda consider my home to be, it's really where I got my start and my first exposure to the wrestling world, outside of like independents, outside of doing enhancement talent for WWE. So I just feel like I owe them so much, and it's a really full circle feeling for me to be competing for the ROH Women's World Championship because I fought so hard for that thing to even be the figment of someone's imagination at Ring of Honor. That dates back all the way to 2015. I love Rok-C and I think she's incredible in so many ways, I feel like I am looking in a mirror at me six years ago. I look so much forward to wrestling her, but then also I look forward to being the Ring of Honor World Women's Champion.
