Hiroshi Tanahashi is going after the AEW World Title again....maybe.
Hiroshi Tanahashi appeared on the June 14 episode of AEW Dynamite via video message to challenge MJF for the AEW World Title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 25.
Renee Paquette informed MJF, who was backstage being iced up after his AEW Dynamite match against Adam Cole, that the bout was made official. MJF cared not for Renee's message, saying that he declined that bout and would no show the booking.

Tanahashi failed to capture the vacant AEW World Title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2022, losing to Jon Moxley.
