A match between MJF and Mistico seems to be in the cards.
To cap off the first hour of AEW Fyter Fest, the Hurt Syndicate hit the ring for a promo segment. MVP took the microphone first, bragging about the dominance of Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, saying that there is not a team that can threaten their reign as the AEW World Tag Team Champions.
Then, MJF took the stick, focusing on AEW Grand Slam Mexico. The former AEW World Champion targeted Mistico, saying that he's not the best wrestler in the world because that title belongs to him.
After calling him a big fish in a small stinky pond, MJF revealed that he'll be watching Mistico's match at AEW Summer Blockbuster and if he's impressed, he'll wrestle the CMLL star at AEW Grand Slam Mexico.
