MJF Says He's Booked A Huge Movie, WBD Is Coming Up With Non-Wrestling Ideas For Him

MJF continues to make moves outside of wrestling.

MJF has made it no secret that he's interested in pursuing acting and will ultimately go where the money is. MJF reportedly had meetings in Los Angeles during his hiatus from AEW that began in June, and he confirmed he had meetings in Los Angeles following AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.

Speaking to Sam Roberts on NotSamWrestling, MJF confirmed he's booked a movie and Warner Brothers Discovery is coming up with ideas for him outside of wrestling.

"I don't even like wrestling. I study it. I had to, in order to be the best. Throughout studying it, I grew an appreciation towards professional wrestling, but once I'm done with wrestling, you will never see me again. Ever," he stated. "I'm using this sport like a succubus, I'm sucking the life out of it, the blood, the money, and then I will be gone. I've already booked a HUGE movie, I'm not allowed to announce what it is, but it will be happening and it will be announced soon. I have that going on. The people at Warner Brothers Discovery are crazy high on MJF and are coming up with potential ideas for MJF outside of the wrestling-sphere. There's also a podcasting opportunity that has been thrown my way that I am considering."

After MJF begged Tony Khan to fire him and called Khan a "fucking mark" on AEW Dynamite after AEW Double or Nothing, there were reports that WBD was unhappy with the language used.

MJF addressed those reports, saying, "They were so mad in fact, that once they noticed how much the ratings dipped when MJF left, they may or may not have called Tony Khan and said, 'pay the man his money.' Who is to say? What I will say about Warner Brothers Discovery as a whole, they are great."

MJF currently holds the poker chip that gives him an AEW World Title match at any AEW sanctioned event.

Elsewhere during the interview, MJF commented on missing the AEW Double or Nothing meet and greet. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
