MJF returns to MLW.
As MLW Summer of the Beasts was underway, there was an appearance from Místico. As he grabbed a microphone, masked members of CONTRA Unit stormed the ring to go after him.
Místico was able to fight them off, but there was one more masked individual who snuck up behind him and laid him out. That individual revealed himself to be MJF.
The AEW talent beat Místico down and said they will wrestle again. He added that he's going to embarrass Místico, CMLL, and Mexico. They wrestled at AEW Grand Slam Mexico, and Místico defeated MJF via disqualification.
MJF had not been in an MLW ring since 2020. He held the organization's World Middleweight and World Tag Team Championships. In MLW, MJF was a member of 'The Dynasty' with Alex Hammerstone and Richard Holliday.
