MJF: Vince McMahon Is To Blame For The Comedic Perception Of The Hair vs. Title Stipulation

MJF comments on his upcoming stipulation match.
Friedman is set to put his hair on the line when he faces Darby Allin in a Title vs. Hair match at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.
There has been a small amount of criticism surrounding this stipulation, with some fans claiming that the stipulation is too comedic for the intense feud.
Speaking with Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated for a new interview, Friedman said that Vince McMahon is to blame for the comedic perception of the stipulation.
“You can thank Vince McMahon for that, yeah. It wasn’t comedy in Memphis. It wasn’t comedy in World Class. It wasn’t comedy in Mexico.”
Continuing on, MJF revealed that he was bald during his junior year of high school.
“Listen, I can’t speak for anybody else, all I know is that I make money off this hair, okay? I’m in movies, I’m a top guy in this industry and if I want to be a top guy in this industry, I can’t be bald. Bald doesn’t sell, it just doesn’t. There’s only one reason I’d be able to pull off being bald, and it’s if I was trying to be some Jason Statham esque wannabe. The fact of the matter is, I’ve got good Hollywood looks. I’m gonna be in action movies kicking ass down the line, but I don’t want to be bald doing it. Jason Statham can pull it off, I’ve seen what my head looks like with no hair. My junior year of high school, the whole football team got buzz cuts. It wasn’t pretty man and I’m not interested in going back to that. No thank you.”
