MJF Loves Acting As Much As He Loves Wrestling, Teases ‘Really Meaty’ Role In ‘Violent Night 2’
MJF talks ‘Violent Night 2’.
The former AEW World Champion stars in the 2026 film alongside David Harbour, Kristen Bell, Jared Harris, Maggie Nicole Robertson, Joe Pantoliano. Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for an interview at WrestleCade, MJF talked about his love for acting and how he has a “really meaty” role in the film.
“Fully. Like I said, I love acting as much as I love wrestling. I can’t give anything away because Universal will get very upset with me, but the role that I got on Violet Night 2 is really meaty. I do actually think it’s going to go down as like one of the best wrestler-actor performances. I’m very excited.”
‘Violent Night 2’ is scheduled to hit theaters on December 4, 2026. The film is directed by Tommy Wirkola and written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller.
