MJF vs. Mark Briscoe Set For 8/6 AEW Dynamite
MJF and Mark Briscoe will finally clash in Cleveland.
After weeks of back-and-forth, things between MJF and Mark Briscoe came to a boiling point on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
After defeating Ricochet in the main event of Dynamite, Briscoe called out MJF. The 29-year-old appeared on the titantron and eventually agreed to face Briscoe on the August 6 edition of Dynamite, citing that he wasn’t a fan of Adam Page’s pressure tactics. The match will headline the show.
MJF then attacked Briscoe from behind, beating him down briefly until Adam Page hit the ring. Briscoe used this opportunity to attempt a Jay Driller on MJF, but he was able to scurry away at the last moment.
With next week’s main event between @The_MJF and @SussexCoChicken now official, MJF made sure Mark Briscoe won’t make it to the match at 100%.

This will be the first time that Jacob Friedman and Briscoe have ever shared a ring outside of the Casino Gauntlet match at AEW All In Texas.
