MJF: When I Return, I’m Shoving The PWI 500 Cover Down Everyone’s Throats
MJF has been off AEW television since failing to win the Casino Gauntlet at AEW All In, but when he returns he’s coming for the AEW World and blood.
MJF is coming off arguably his greatest year in AEW, which has included winning the AEW World Title twice and establishing himself as the top draw in the company. Those two facts, combined with his match quality, were enough to land him number one overall in the annual PWI 500.
“The One True Champion” has never been shy of boasting his accolades, and he says he’ll do just that when he returns.
“I don’t want to give anything away, but just know, whenever I come back, because I’m waiting for the right time and the right moment, whenever I come back, just know that the PWI cover is not going to be far behind. I’m going to be shoving this down everybody’s throats for as long as humanly possible,” he told Lyric Swinton of Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
It is unknown when MJF will return to AEW TV.
