MJF Wins AEW World Title At AEW Worlds End

Two years after losing the AEW World Title, MJF regained it at AEW Worlds End 2025.

MJF defeated Swerve Strickland, Hangman Page, and Samoa Joe in a four-way match at Worlds End to recapture the AEW World Title.

The finish saw Hangman connect with two buckshot lariats on Joe, but Joe didn’t fall down. Hangman set up for a third, but MJF shoved Joe out of the way cut off Hangman with a kick to the groin.

MJF followed up by hitting the heatseeker on Joe for the pinfall victory.

This marks the second reign as AEW World Champion for MJF. He previously held the title from November 19, 2022 to December 30, 2023. Samoa Joe’s reign ends at 36 days. He made one successful title defense.

MJF entered the match at Worlds End by executing his Casino Gauntlet contract, turning the originally scheduled three-way bout into a four-way.
