MJF Would Love To Work With Timothée Chalamet

When sitting down with Mostly Sports’ Brandon Walker, MJF was asked quite a few questions of his acting career. He didn’t hesitate to put himself on the Mount Rushmore of pro wrestlers turned actors, and it comes as no surprise that he’d love to work with the likes of John Cena, Batista, and The Rock.
Walker didn’t like his answer as he thought it was a cop-out. MJF responded, “Those are the guys I looked up to as a kid. Outside of that, if I had to name specific actors, I’d say Timothée Chalamet.”
“I love the fact that he respects this industry and I also think he’s supremely talented,” MJF added. When Walker brought up Chalamet’s conversation with Cody Rhodes where the actor called ECW One Night Stand his favorite PPV, MJF said, “As a New Yorker, that was the coolest f*****g answer I’ve ever heard in my life. That was very, very cool.”
Chalamet certainly caught wrestling fans attention during his appearance on “What Do You Want To Talk About?” with Rhodes. Their podcast wasn’t just centered around his film, Marty Supreme, instead it was a deep dive on the professional wrestling business. Looking at MJF’s past with “Le Dinner Debonaire” and Chalamet’s performance in “Wonka”, one could only imagine what those two could do together on-screen.
