WWE Extreme Rules was last night in Baltimore, in case you missed it.

If you did, I can't blame you. It was mostly meh.

Samoa Joe won the #1 Contender's Match so we're gonna get Joe vs Brock at WWE Great Balls. So that's cool.

Hey, by the way, did you notice that the logo for WWE Great Balls actually looks like testicles that are made of lava and therefore literally on fire? It's true.

Anyway.

Attending last night's mostly-shit show was Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones--not to be confused with Cincinnati Bengals defensive back and former TNA Tag Team Champion Adam "Pac-Man" Jones.

No, this Adam Jones is a Five-Time All Star and Four Time Golden Glove Winner and he is also apparently a huge WWE fan. As are several of his non-professional-athlete friends, who attended the event with Jones.

They came in costume.

Adam Jones is the one dressed as Virgil there, flanked by IRS and The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase.

Hiding behind Jones is a guy dressed up as The Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart, and I guess that's supposed to be Big Boss Man way over on the right.

Regardless. Well done, lads. That's how you do that.

And of course, as the images were splashed all over Twitter, noted social media user and Olive Garden-enthusiast Virgil saw the bat signal that goes up any time his name is mentioned and he weighed in:

And isn't that the way we'd all hoped it would turn out, with Real recognizing Real? No silly beefs, no lingering resentment. Just one famous athlete honoring a childhood favorite superstar and that superstar being totally cool with it.

Sometimes, that's all you can ask.

Well, that, and an extra helping of that Meat Sauce.
