MLB’s Official X Account Reacts To Kevin Owens’ Return At WWE SummerSlam
Kevin Owens’ return caught the attention of the MLB social media team.
Making his return to WWE at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event was Kevin Owens. There was an advertised singles match between Sami Zayn and Finn Bálor at the P.L.E., but SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis showed up and added GUNTHER to the match.
Aldis proceeded to add another talent to make it a Fatal 4-Way, and out came Owens. Owens went on to pin Zayn to win the bout and earn a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Owens’ return caught the attention of the social media team for the MLB. They wrote:

The current Undisputed WWE Champion is CM Punk. Punk received an inadvertent assist from the returning Randy Orton to defeat Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.
