Major League Wrestling is only about two years into their resurgence which kicked off on October 2017. since that time, they have continued to grow as a promotion and are currently building towards their first traditional pay-per-view, Saturday Night SuperFight, which will be held on November 2, 2019.

Women's wrestling is currently still in the midst of its own boom with WWE's Women's Evolution, AEW getting ready to add its own Women's World Champion, and promotions like WOW presenting women exclusively.

MLW's tweet featured a question to fans asking what women wrestlers they would like to see featured in the promotion. Currently, the promotion features a couple of women in a managerial capacity. Aria Blake is paired with MJF and The Dynasty, and Salina de la Renta is the main mouthpiece for Promociones Dorado, in addition to being a Spanish commentator for the company and having some executive producer credits on two episodes of the MLW Fusion TV series.
