MLW Unveils Full Lineup For Blood & Thunder On August 9th

The full lineup for Blood & Thunder.

Major League Wrestling’s Blood & Thunder special is going to air on August 9th on the organization’s official YouTube channel.

Headlining the event will be MLW World Tag Team Champion Donovan Dijak challenging Matt Riddle for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. Here is MLW’s press release about the lineup:

NEW YORK — Major League Wrestling today announced a stacked lineup for MLW: Blood & Thunder’25 taking place Saturday, August 9 at 10pm ET, airing on beIN SPORTS and streaming worldwide for FREE on MLW’s YouTube channel.

MLW’s summer gets supercharged with a wild night of combat, including the long-awaited return of the Opera Cup, a jaw-dropping championship clash, and the debut of one of the wildest wrestlers in the sport.

 MLW World Heavyweight Championship: Matt Riddle (c) vs. Donovan Dijak
The rematch Donovan Dijak has been salivating over for months is finally official. With redemption on his mind and half of the World Tag Team titles already in his possession, could the skyscraper finally rise to the top and steal the biggest prize from Matt Riddle? Or will “The King of Bros” shut him down once again?

 Shotzi Blackheart vs. Ava Everett
The unpredictable, unapologetic Shotzi makes her explosive MLW debut! In a match made official by Salina de la Renta, Shotzi collides with Ava Everett in a high-voltage showdown between two dangerous women out to steal the spotlight.

 Mistico vs. Ikuro Kwon – Opera Cup Opening Round
History will be made as CMLL’s legendary Mistico battles CONTRA’s assassin Ikuro Kwon for the first time ever in singles action! With pride, legacy, and a shot at Opera Cup immortality on the line, expect nothing short of war.

 Satoshi Kojima vs. Bobby Fish – Opera Cup Opening Round
Two-time MLW World Heavyweight Champion Satoshi Kojima makes his first-ever Opera Cup appearance against the ruthless technician Bobby Fish. Will Kojima overpower the veteran spoiler, or will Fish shock the world?

 Bishop Dyer vs. Anthony Greene – Opera Cup Opening Round
MLW’s resident powerhouse Bishop Dyer, fresh off of capturing the MLW World Tag Team Championship, collides with the crafty and unorthodox Anthony Greene. One man advances. One man fades from the tournament.

 LIGHTNING MATCH: Neon vs. Paul London
A rematch months in the making! After stealing the show in Arena Mexico, Neon and Paul London run it back in a Lightning Match, where the clock is ticking and every second counts!
