Money in the Bank qualifying matches will begin on the May 29 episode of WWE Raw, and Raquel Rodriguez has found a new tag team partner.
During the May 22 episode of WWE Raw, the broadcast team announced that the first Money in the Bank qualifying matches will be held on the May 29 episode. WWE Money in the Bank will be held on Saturday, July 1.
The May 29 episode of WWE Raw will also feature a four-way match for the vacant WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. On the May 12 episode of WWE SmackDown, Rodriguez and Liv Morgan defeated Bayley and Dakota Kai to retain the titles, but Morgan sustained an injury during the match. On the May 19 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE announced that Morgan was not cleared to compete, so the champions had to relinquish the titles.
Rodriguez was given a spot in the match that would crown the new champions on the May 29 episode of WWE Raw. She found a new partner on the May 22 episode, as Shotzi made the save when Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville attacked Rodriguez following her win over Deville.

WWE then confirmed that Shotzi will be Rodriguez's partner for the title match.
