Montez Ford had a WrestleMania moment to remember as he and Angelo Dawkins successfully defended their Raw Tag Team Titles against Angel Garza & Austin Theory, and Ford's wife Bianca Belair made her main roster debut.
If a victory and sharing the moment with his wife wasn't enough, Ford did it all with a broken back.
"Who do you know broke their back and still make it to WrestleMania?" Ford asked Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes during an interview.
Ford landed roughly on his back on the March 30 episode of WWE Raw.
McIntosh didn't have an answer as Ford continued, discussing how WrestleMania 36 played out.
"With everything that was happening, just to have that moment still happen in spite of the current state of the world is a blessing. It will forever be cemented in our minds and our hearts. I'm glad we were able to still have that moment," he said.
The Street Profits have been successful on WWE Raw since their move to the red brand in July 2019. The Street Profits were the reigning NXT Tag Team Champions at the time of their move, with Paul Heyman reportedly being behind the decision to get them on the main roster.
When discussing Heyman, Ford said, "I owe Paul Heyman my life. He's always been there since day one. Specifically, the first encounter with Paul Heyman and him give us [Ford & Angelo Dawkins] a wealth of knowledge. When we first debuted on Raw, he was the first person that came and found us, talked to us, and took us under his wing. He's given us a whole bunch of stuff, been there along the way, given us information and insight. Getting any type of insight from Paul Heyman, you just go with it. I'm privileged to know him and work with him in the time period that we did."
Heyman served as the executive director of Raw from June 2019 to June 2020.
Despite being Raw Tag Team Champions, the Street Profits haven't been in action on Raw since June 17 when they defeated the Vikings Raiders.
