Moose Feels IMPACT Wrestling Should Try Running Larger Venues In The Near Future

Moose reveals what he thinks the biggest obstacle for IMPACT Wrestling currently is.

Moose is not only the current IMPACT Wrestling World Champion, he is also one of the longest-tenured members of the roster. In the time he's been with the company, he has seen many changes start and stop, many different logos, and many different networks. Now, as the brand begins to stabilize a little bit moose is talking about what he believes the biggest challenge currently is for IMPACT.

Matt Hardy Provides Update On His Free Agency, Says He Has Been Speaking With AEW And WWE

Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, Moose says he thinks it's time for the company to at least try running bigger venues, saying they will never know what happens unless they try.

"The biggest challenge...if you watch our shows, they are just as good, if not better than that of AEW and WWE. The biggest challenge for us, if I was running the company, I would try to do is expand our following in the sense of getting bigger venues and seeing if we could draw a 5,000 seat arena, a 6,000 seat arena, and see. You never know unless you try it. Personally, and just my opinion, I'm not saying it's fact, just see if we could expand our reach and see if we could slowly start running bigger arenas, especially for pay-per-views. Every pay-per-view we've had in the last two or three years since new management and Scott D'Amore took over, we've sold out. Instead of selling out a 1,200 seat building, can we sell out a 2,000 seat building? A 2,500 seat building? Just slowly increasing our outreach. "

In 2022, IMPACT Wrestling is at least hitting the road again as they have begun leaving Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee to once again begin taking their shows on the road. In February, they will be filming the Battle in the Bayou which will include the No Surrender IMPACT Plus special where moose will defend his title against W. Morrissey.

Elsewhere in the interview, Moose discusses how he pitched his own custom world championship, but the design was turned down. Learn more here.
