Moose Thinks Saquon Shugars & Osiris Griffin Will Be Breakout Talents From WWE’s DarkState Group
Saquon Shugars and Osiris Griffin spotlighted.
WWE NXT’s DarkState faction arrived to television in early 2025. The group consists of Saquon Shugars, Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, and Cutler James.
The duo of Lennox and Griffin is the current NXT Tag Team Champions. DarkState was spoken about by TNA Wrestling’s Moose as he was doing a virtual signing with Signed By Superstars. He shared his opinion that Shugars and Griffin will be breakout talents from the group.
He thinks everyone in DarkState has a bright future, but specifically spotlights Shugars and Griffin. He referred to Shugars by his former alias, Lucky Ali.
“Um, yes (I do think members of DarkState will be breakout talents). The two that I think is gonna be — I mean, they’re all great, don’t get me wrong — but if I was to pick two of ‘em in DarkState, would be the short, Black kid… I wanna say he has dreads or something like that. I think he’s very, very talented, and the big, muscular — I forgot they name — Osiris (Griffin). I think it’s Osiris and Lucky is the two that I think… they all have bright futures. Don’t get me wrong but, the two that stands out the most to me is definitely Osiris and Lucky. But, they’re all great. I could see them easily being The Shield or each guy has a world title run.”
Lennox and Griffin successfully defended the NXT Tag Team Championships on the 9/9 NXT on The CW. They scored a victory over Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.
