Mr. Stone Has An Idea For Von Wagner, Noam Dar Wins In NXT Return, Wes Lee Retains | NXT Fight Size

Here's your Fight Size update following WWE NXT on April 18, 2023.

- Von Wagner opened up to Mr. Stone and noted that WWE was in his blood, as his dad was one of the Beverly Brothers. Mr. Stone seemingly changed his mind about Wagner, as they walked away together.

- Gallus (Mark Cofffey and Wolfgang) defended the NXT Tag Team Championship against The Creed Brothers (Brutus and Julius Creed) and The Dyad (Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler). The match began with a wild brawlm before the bell. Once officials restored order, the three teams threw everything they had at each other. In the end, Ivy Nile accidentally got taken out, and Julius Creed checked on her. Gallus capitalized by double-teaming Brutus for the win.

- Noam Dar returned to the NXT ring and faced Myles Borne. Borne showed flashes, but Dar picked up the emphatic win. He then celebrated with the Heritage Cup.

- Wes Lee defended the NXT North American Championship against Nathan Frazer. Drew Gulak attacked Lee during his entrance. Lee persevered and defeated Dempsey to retain the title. Gulak and Dempsey attacked Lee after the bell.

- Grayson Waller hosted the Grayson Waller Effect, and NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes was the special guest. They traded shots, and Waller credited Trick Williams for Hayes' success. Hayes said Waller stole every opportunity he ever had. He told Waller he might not be "that guy." Hayes said he would drop some banners for Waller's accomplishments before he noted that Waller didn't have any. Waller said he stole the show at NXT Stand & Deliver. Tensions continued to rise, and they squared off to close the show.

- Roxanne Perez faced Zoey Stark, and the two stars went back and forth. Stark overpowered Perez, but the former champion rallied and scored the win with the Pop Rox. NXT Women's Champion Indi Hartwell came to the ring and gave Perez a title shot on next week's show. Tiffany Stratton interrupted and claimed that Hartwell's title win was pure, dumb luck. She also said Perez was a beatable opponent. Hartwell upped the stakes by saying she'd face both Perez and Stratton next week.

- Dijak got angry with an interviewer, and Apollo Crews confronted him. They agreed to face each other in a match, where Dijak scored a hard-fought victory. Ilja Draguov made the save when Dijak tried to attack Crews after the bell.

- Nathan Frazer hosted Hard-Hitting Home Truths and reflected on his journey in NXT. He pointed out the challenges he has faced and made it clear that he wants to turn the ship around.

- Josh Briggs approached Kiana James and asked her to talk to Brooks Jensen. She made it clear Jensen wasn't going to go for it. Jensen walked in and he had clearly had a makeover. He told Briggs that they weren't family, and he told Briggs to leave.

- Brooks Jensen and Fallon Henley came to Fallon Henley's bar. Jensen told Briggs he was holding him back. Jensen and James challenged the duo to a match on NXT Spring Breakin', and they accepted.

- Odyssey Jones came to the ring, and Bron Breakker blindsided him with a Spear. Breakker insulted Chase U, and Duke Hudson interrupted. He challenged Breakker to a match at Spring Breakin', as he was upset that the former champion crashed his MVP Ceremony. Hudson then revealed that Andre Chase will be the one facing Breakker.

- Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) challenged The Family (Tony D'Angelo & Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo) to a match on NXT Spring Breakin' and noted that they'd be willing to fight them without any rules. Later in the show, D'Angelo and "Stacks" looked forward to their battle with Pretty Deadly, and D'Angelo said they will clash in a Trunk Match.

- Axiom discussed his feud with SCRYPTS and vowed to expose him.

- Hank Walker hyped up Tank Ledger at the Performance Center. Tank expressed his excitement, and Dani Palmer admitted that she was nervous for her debut, but Ledger showe dhis support.

- Cora Jade faced Gigi Dolin, and they battled it out. In the closing moments, Jacy Jayne interfered. Dolin took her out and threw her into Booker T. Jade capitalized on the distraction and scored the win. Lyra Valkyria appeared after the bell and challenged Jade to a match for next week.

- Eddy Thorpe shared his thoughts following his debut in NXT. Damon Kemp confronted him and said he was impressed. He told Thorpe to keep up the good work.

- Jacy Jayne sent a heated message to Gigi Dolin and noted that she abandoned her brother. She said Dolin would run away from NXT when it was all said and done.

- Noam Dar commented on his win in a NXT Exclusive and stated that he reminded everyone how dangerous he is.

- In a Digital Exclusive, Dijak was fired up, and he made it clear that he wants to face Ilja Dragunov.

- Thea Hail responded to Bron Breakker and teased she would Spear him.

- Brooks Jensen commented on his drastic change and stated that it was just business.

- Nathan Frazer claimed that he and his Hard Hitting Home Truths was better than John Oliver.

- Andre Chase hyped up his match with Bron Breakker.
