Mr. Stone: There Is Still A Lot I Can Accomplish. Look At Paul Heyman And MVP, They Kept Evolving

Mr. Stone is proud of his past but even more excited about his future.

Over a decade ago, Rob Strauss, currently known as Mr Stone in WWE NXT was performing as Robbie E in TNA wrestling and winning championships. Now, he has settled into a comfortable role at ringside but he is still proud of what he's accomplished and believes that there is even more he can do to further his legacy in his current role.

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Stone spoke about his past and wrestling and said that he is very proud of what he's accomplished. However, he looks ahead to the Future believing there is still more to accomplish.

He cites names such as Paul Heyman and MVP as being able to further add to their careers by being ringside.

“I’m very proud of my past,” said Strauss. “This is what I’ve always wanted, this is what I’ve always loved.

“I’ve learned a lot throughout my career. Longevity in wrestling is hard. You need to stay on top of your game, constantly reinvent yourself, swallow your ego, and you need to be willing to put in the work and hustle. Still, to this day, I’m the biggest hustler there is.

“There is still a lot left I can accomplish. Look at Paul Heyman and MVP. They kept evolving, and they’re still integral parts of what we do. That’s what I want to continue to be.”

MVP recently stated that Paul Heyman himself said he hired MVP in an effort to find his own successor. Read those comments here.

Mr. Stone came up short during his recent tag match with Von Wagner on the February 13th episode of WWE NXT but going into the match he was proud he was going to be able to allow his kids to watch him perform live.
