Mr T Says He Will ‘Never Forget’ His Appearance At WrestleMania 1

Mr T says that he will ‘never forget’ his appearance at WrestleMania 1, teaming with Hulk Hogan in the main event of the show.

At the show in March of 1985, Mr T would team with Hulk Hogan to take on the team of Roddy Piper and Paul Orndoff. The finish of the match would feature Bob Orton getting involved, leading to Hogan scoring the pin in the bout.

While speaking to HeartasArt in a recent interview, Mr T reflected on his appearance at WrestleMania 1.

“That was wild. I will never forget that. Madison Square Garden, you know. Packed arena. We got Liberace. We got Muhammad Ali. We got all the people. We got all the wrestlers, top name. I said, me, I’m in here. I’m a part of this here. Again because I want to give my best performance. Because the world going to be watching it now. Now they can play back and see WrestleMania 1. So that meant so much. So everything I do, basically, my life, I tell kids, because I speak at schools a lot, I tell them every job that I get is because I did a good job on the previous job.”
