Mustafa Ali Defending TNA International Title In Open Challenge At Slammiversary 2026

Mustafa Ali set for Slammiversary.

As the June 18th episode of TNA Wrestling Thursday Night iMPACT was underway, it was announced that Mustafa Ali is scheduled to defend his TNA International Championship at Slammiversary on June 28th.

He’ll be putting his title on the line in an open challenge. There was an opportunity for Ali to be added to the TNA World Championship match at Slammiversary.

There was a tag team match that saw Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler & Jason Hotch) take on Nic Nemeth, TNA World Champion Mike Santana, and K.C. Navarro. Authority figure Daria Rae stated that if Slammiversary opponents Nic Nemeth and Mike Santana put hands on one another during the match, there would be major changes to their match at the pay-per-view.

She said if Nemeth put his hands on Santana, he would be removed from the title match, and if Santana touched Nemeth, he would be stripped of the title. In either scenario, Ali would have filled in for the competitor who was removed.

Santana and Nemeth ended up securing a double pin for their team.
