Mustafa Ali's Inauguration, Athena Calls An Emergency Meeting, More | TNA x ROH Fight Size Update

Here is your fight size update following TNA iMPACT! on AXS TV and ROH Wrestling on HonorClub for Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Below are highlights from both Thursday night wrestling shows.

TNA iMPACT!

- During his inauguration ceremony, Mustafa Ali said he had begun making the X-Division great again. He didn't get along in the speech before he was interrupted by Chris Sabin. The situation quickly turns physical and while Chris Sabin was briefly outnumbered by The Good Hands of John Skyler and Jason Hotch, Kevin Knight and KUSHIDA would quickly make the save.

- Following his ruthless assault on a TNA referee at No Surrender, Frankie Kazarian has been suspended by Director of Authority Santino Marella.

- The rubber match between Tasha Steelz and Xia Brookside ended in a no-contest. Jordynne Grace would then declare that she would defend her Knockouts World Championship against both women at TNA Sacrifice.

- In the main event of the show, The System (TNA World Champion Moose, Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) defeated Eric Young & TNA World Tag Team Champions ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey).

- Nic Nemeth will put the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship on the line against Steve Maclin at TNA Sacrifice. Learn more about that here.

- Xia Brookside has new theme music courtesy of the pop-punk supergroup of Simple Plan, State Champs, and We The Kings.

- Alexander Hammerstone has officially signed with TNA Wrestling.

- DECAY is waiting for the right moment to strike before they come after the brand new TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, MK Ultra.

- Rich Swann and Joe Hendry picked up a win over the team of AJ Francis and Deaner.

- Jake Something picked up a victory over Laredo Kid .

- Alan Angels welcomes Kon to his talk show, Sound Check. Angels reminisced about their time together in The Design but says they’re doing better on their own. Kon claims to have ended PCO at No Surrender but he spoke too soon as PCO was once again brought to life.

Ring of Honor

- Athena declared an emergency MIT meeting on February 29. She spoke about her victory over Nyla Rose and lovingly threatened Billie Starkz to become the inaugural Ring of Honor Women's World TV Champion. Athena also joked that it was time for Lexy Nair to stop running around and chasing after Dalton Castle during his crisis.

- Taiji Ishimori defeated Jacoby Watts in his first ROH match in five years.

- Komander and Lee Johnson also picked up big singles victories.

- Johnny TV defeated Dalton Castle and as a result, Johnny and Taya Valkyrie have custody of The Boys. Learn more here.

- Queen Aminata defeated Taya Valkyrie to advance in the ROH Women's World TV Title Tournament Quarterfinal match.
