MVP: I Don’t Respect Triple H. He’s A Liar And A Coward

MVP gives more insight into why he doesn’t like Triple H.
MVP departed WWE in the summer of 2024 after his contract expired with the promotion. Shortly before he left, WWE had released Shelton Benjamin in September 2023, which upset MVP.
He has often spoken about his dislike of Triple H, and on the latest episode of Marking Out, he gave more insight into their relationship.
“I made up my mind, I don’t want to be here anymore, and if Triple H is in charge, then I definitely don’t want to be here because I don’t like Triple H. I don’t respect Triple H. I think he’s a coward and a liar. There have been many situations where he was dealing with Bobby where he didn’t have the balls to tell Bobby the truth about the creative. I tried to talk to him and it was always, ‘I’ll get with you in a little bit.’ The few times I got the chance to get him in his office alone, he call somebody. He didn’t want to be alone with me. I don’t respect that. I’m a professional; tell me how you feel. There are lots of people throughout my career that I have worked with that I don’t like. We’re making money and doing business. When I saw the political horizon, I said, ‘Bobby, Triple H ain’t for us. Triple H won’t even talk to you.’ Triple H wouldn’t give Bobby one-on-one time. ‘What’s my direction? What am I doing?’ Triple H always had something come up. Other people had all the access they wanted,” he said.
As he’s said in the past, MVP spoke to Bobby about leaving as well and reuniting with Shelton in AEW, which came to fruition at the end of 2024.
The trio remains a featured part of AEW TV as The Hurt Syndicate.
