MVP is headed in for knee surgery.
MVP suffered a knee injury in February, but remained on television and used a cane to help him get around.
On Monday, WWE announced a storyline injury to MVP, saying he would be out indefinitely with a broken rib following an RKO on the floor.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported MVP had surgery last week, but that is not the case according to MVP, who says he'll be getting surgery "soon."

It is unknown how long MVP will be out of action.
He and Bobby Lashley earned a WWE Raw Tag Team Title match against Riddle & Orton on the September 6 episode of WWE Raw by winning Tag Team Turmoil.
Lashley lost the WWE Title this past Monday on Raw when Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase.
