MVP Says Hurt Syndicate Is In Discussions About Adding New Member: “We Need A Youthful Spark”

MVP states that the group is looking to add some youth.

The Hurt Syndicate consists of MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin. There was a brief period when MJF was a part of the group, but it eventually reverted to the original members.

While guest apperaring on the Battleground Podcast, MVP spoke about why MJF in The Hurt Syndicate did not work and stated that MJF did not have the drive for violence. He said MJF’s stint in the group soured them on wanting to add a new member, but now they believe it’s time to add some youthfulness to The Hurt Syndicate.

“We are currently discussing adding a new member. The last go-around, we tried it with MJF. It didn’t go well because he just didn’t make the cut. He wasn’t good enough. He doesn’t have the drive, he doesn’t have internal capability for true violence. He’s a huckster… I went out on a limb and vouched for him with my colleagues but, he just didn’t make the cut so, that kind of soured us a little bit about trying to add somebody new but, we think we do need a little youthfulness. We need a youthful spark, so, it could be about time to add a new member.”

Former member of The Hurt Business in WWE, Cedric Alexander, revealed that he had the opportunity to join AEW and reunite with MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin. For more on that, click here.
