Myles Borne Bests Johnny Gargano To Retain North American Title At NXT Stand & Deliver, Dion Lennox Attacks Borne Post-Match

Borne’s celebration was cut short.

One of the title matches on the bill for NXT Stand & Deliver was Myles Borne defending the North American Championship against Johnny Gargano.

SmackDown’s Gargano has been in a slump since his partner, Tommaso Ciampa, left WWE to join All Elite Wrestling. He reverted to his former self for the match against Borne.

There was a point during the bout when Gargano’s wife, Candice LeRae, struck Borne, and Gargano followed that up with a rollup, which Borne kicked out of.

The conclusion of the bout saw Borne hit a slingshot ‘Borne Again’ onto Gargano and then hit another one. He went on to successfully defend the North American Title for the second time.

Post-match, after Borne showed respect to Gargano, DarkState’s Dion Lennox ambushed the champion.
