Myles Borne Challenging Ethan Page For North American Title, NXT Tag Title Bout, Men’s Speed Championship Match Set For 2/24 WWE NXT

There have been multiple additions to the February 24th episode of NXT on The CW. One of those bouts is an NXT North American Championship match. In the main event of the 2/17 show, the champion Ethan Page received an assist from Vanity Project (Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) to retain his title over Shiloh Hill. After the bout, the four talents jumped Hill. Coming in for the save was Myles Borne. Borne began beating on Page, and Hill slid a chair into the ring. Borne placed Page’s foot in between the chair and demanded a North American Title shot. Page agreed to it to get Borne to stop, but Borne stomped on the chair anyway.
For the first time, the WWE Men’s Speed Championship will be defended in a Triple Threat match. That came about as Eli Knight and Elio LeFleur were competing in a number contender’s match that resulted in a time limit draw. Interim NXT General Manager Robert Stone decided to make it official that Jasper Troy will defend the title in a three-way against Knight and LeFleur, and there will be a seven-minute time limit.
A number one contender’s tournament for a shot at Fallon Henley’s WWE Women’s Speed Championship is starting on 2/24, and one of the matches will be Blake Monroe versus Thea Hail.
