Myles Borne has retained his WWE NXT Championship opportunity.
Ethan Page challenged Myles Borne to put his WWE NXT Championship opportunity at WWE NXT Battleground on the line in a match on the May 13 episode of WWE NXT. Borne, who had just cut an impassioned promo about how much this opportunity means to him, agreed and the match was set for later in the evening.
While the former WWE NXT Champion put up a good fight, Borne was able to squeak out the victory with a jackknife roll-up. Now that he's proven he can defeat an NXT Champion, he will look to do it again when he faces Oba Femi on Sunday, May 25, at WWE NXT Battleground.
