Naomi nearly went from being confronted by Tiffany Stratton to having the perfect opportunity to cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase on the WWE Women's Champion.
Naomi addressed the crowd for the first time as Ms. Money in the Bank on the June 13 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. She reflected on almost defeating Nia Jax for the Women's Championship before Tiffany distracted her and cashed in her own Money in the Bank briefcase after winning the titular Ladder Match in 2024. Just then, Tiffany emerged to interrupt her and challenged her to cash in the briefcase right then and there.
Tiffany teased Naomi by saying that she is all talk and no action. Naomi replied that she would wait for the perfect moment and left the ring.

Shortly after, Nia Jax, still furious after losing a WWE Queen of the Ring tournament match earlier in the evening, attacked Stratton, squashing her with an AnNiahilator.
Naomi nearly seized the moment to cash in her briefcase, but Nia Jax threatened her to turn around and leave, and so she did.

Naomi hasn't been a major singles champion in WWE since SummerSlam 2017, when she lost the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship to Natalya. However, she held the TNA Knockouts World Championship in 2023 during her time away from WWE.
