Many wrestlers who are a part of WWE and wrestlers from various companies and promotions sent their congratulations and well wishes to Reigns as he embarks on his journey back to in-ring competition. Former SmackDown Live Women's Champion Natalya dedicated her latest blog post for the Calgary Sun to Roman Reigns and here are a few excerpts from the post:

I remember exactly where I was when I heard the announcement that Roman was diagnosed with leukemia. We were all shocked backstage because very few of us knew that he was sick. When we found out that he had leukemia in his early 20s and that it had returned, this news left us all speechless. Roman always seemed like such an unstoppable force. I wondered to myself if he would be strong enough to come back because I know just how serious his fight was going to be and it is not something that any of us take lightly. Our hearts broke for Roman, and I thought to myself about how precious and fragile life is. In the last four months since his announcement, the entire world waited to see when and if Roman Reigns would return to WWE. We all wanted him to come back and be the Superman that he was before; our locker room leader who was so stoic and strong.

This past Monday, we all got our answer when Roman proudly declared he was in remission. He addressed the world in an incredible speech on Raw and thanked everyone for the love and support over the past few months. I can speak for our entire wrestling family within WWE that Roman was on our minds and in our hearts the whole time he was away. When Roman spoke of his remission, it was the greatest news any of us could have received from him. I felt so happy for Roman and for his family. Everyone backstage jumped out of their seats with happiness. But I also thought to myself, for every kid out there that we’ve visited battling cancer, or going through a life-threatening illness, Roman’s example will serve as a real inspiration that miracles do happen every single day.
