A few of WWE's women made the trip over to Saudi Arabia.
Fightful has been able to confirm rumors that Natalya, Lana and Lacey Evans all flew over to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with the WWE crew. We don't have any word on plans involving the three, but thus far, no women have performed in the ring.
Fightful Select reported earlier this year that there were major pushes to have women featured on the Saudi Arabia shows. There are many in the company that think that making that happen can help spin some of the negative press the shows receive. The vision almost came to fruition at this year's Super Showdown, but didn't come to pass, as Natalya and Alexa Bliss had traveled to Jeddah.
Lacey Evans and Natalya had been embroiled in a feud over recent months that saw Natalya finally gain the upper hand and beat Lacey Evans in a Last Woman Standing match. The two would team up in a losing effort shortly after, before Natalya adopted Charlotte Flair as a tag team partner this week. Lana has been involved in the controversial storyline also featuring her husband Rusev and Bobby Lashley.
WWE Crown Jewel takes place October 31, 2019 from the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fightful will have full, live coverage of the show, as well as a post-show podcast.
