Natalya Says WrestleMania Season Needs To Be About The Women Of WWE, Is Tired Of Being A Doormat

Natalya is excited for WrestleMania but is disappointed by the lack of women on the card.

The self-proclaimed B.O.A.T of WWE was a guest on the newest episode of Talking Smack, along with Tamina, and was asked about her 35-second victory over Shayna Baszler on SmackDown. She said that it felt great to beat one half of the Women's Tag Team Champions, and put the rest of the division on notice.

After her victory on April 2nd, a number of Superstars swarmed the ring, including Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose, Lana & Naomi, and The Riott Squad. Natalya says that she and Tamina are not afraid of any of them. She continued on to say the following:

"You know what's missing from WrestleMania season? You know what's missing? Women in WrestleMania. That is what's missing. WrestleMania season needs to be about the women of WWE and tonight we made a statement and we're not to be screwed around with anymore, you got it? So as excited as we are to be here, we are leaving no stone unturned. We no longer follow the directive, we are the directive. We are the directive. Is that good enough for you Kayla? Was that a good enough answer? Was that politically correct enough for you? Am I being sweet enough, kind enough, awesome enough? Am I pretty enough? Am I enough for you anymore? Or should I knock on Vince McMahon's door and ask him what the hell he wants from me? I am tired of being a good girl. Being a good girl, being a doormat got me nowhere, and doormats get walked on [expletive]!"

Paul Heyman would reply by telling Natalya to "cut the crap." He said that their fathers would be ashamed of the way they're acting and that if they want something, to do whatever it takes to make it happen. Essentially, beat every other woman on the roster until you have eliminated all of your competition. Like this, they'll never be ignored again.

The WWE Women's Tag Team Titles are currently not scheduled to be defended at WrestleMania 37. At the moment, only two Women's Division matches have been announced; Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair, and Asuka vs. Rhea Ripley.

Fightful will have live coverage of WWE's annual spectacular on both Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, 2021. Card information can be found here.
