Natalya Shares Memories From Her Own Monday Night Raw Experiences

Natalya has plenty of memories as Raw celebrates its 25th anniversary tonight.

Writing her weekly column for the Edmonton Sun, she talks about how Bret Hart's return to the WWE in 2010 was a memorable moment for her. But she has some of her own, including teaming with the likes of Beth Phoenix, facing Sasha Banks, and her association with Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith. Here's an excerpt from the column:

Taro Okada Explains Why He Felt Stardom Had To Dismiss Rossy Ogawa

From facing off against three-time Divas Champion Michelle McCool, fighting for the WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair, teaming with my best friend and WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix, to putting Ric Flair in the Sharpshooter (And yes, I made Ric tap out).

Then there was the time on Raw when the Hart Dynasty (myself, my husband “Tyson Kidd” and my cousin Harry “DH” Smith) beat The Miz and Big Show to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. It was the greatest feeling to have my uncle Bret there to raise our hands in victory.

In that magical moment on Raw, all the toughness and grit that my grandfather Stu Hart had, felt like it was being passed to us. It was the coolest feeling, and I still close my eyes and think about how lucky I am that I could share such a special moment with my family in the ring in front of the WWE Universe.

It’s important to slow down and relive the great times in your life. So many of those moments, for the WWE Superstars and fans alike, have come on Monday nights.

It’s been 25 years since Raw took to the airwaves and I still feel like a kid when I watch Raw. I can’t wait to celebrate #Raw25 this Monday, Jan. 22 live on Sportsnet 360.
