Natalya Took Advice From Becky Lynch And Bret Hart While Writing Her Book

Natalya took help from Becky Lynch and Bret Hart while working on her memoir.

On Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story podcast, Natalya talked about her struggles with anxiety and panic attacks while working on The Last Hart Beating memoir.

She was having trouble writing it because she didn’t want to upset people reading her work. So she went to people who’ve written bestselling books in the past, Becky and Bret, and took their advice.

“Becky actually said to me, she goes, ‘Just spill your guts. Just say what you want to say, and then sleep on it and then we’ll see. You know, just sleep on it. Look at it later, and then see what you think. I did that,'” she said

Bret Hart gave the same advice to her, but in a more straightforward way.

Bret, my uncle, said, ‘You know, just write it for you. Just write the book for you. Don’t worry about what your bosses think. What your husband thinks. What your dad thinks. What your mom thinks. Like you’ve got to just write it for you.’
So between Becky and Bret, who had both written amazing books, I just started just writing it for me. So many people that have read the book have told me, ‘This book is healing me.’

Elsewhere in the same podcast, Natalya talked about having anxiety and panic attacks while working on her book. Fans can read her comments here.
