Natalya still feeling the rush from 'Evolution'.
It has already been three weeks since WWE's first-ever all-women's pay-per-view 'Evolution'. The anticipated event was a success in the eyes of those who viewed it and the performers who compered on the show. The card featured a Last Woman Standing Match between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Live Women's Championship. Ronda Rousey defended her RAW Women's Title against Nikki Bella and there was also a star-studded Battle Royal featuring in-ring performers from the past, present and the now.
WWE veteran and former SmackDown Live Women's Champion recently reflected on 'Evolution' when she wrote about the event in her latest column for the Calgary Sun. In the piece Nattie broke down some of her favorite matches from the show that she personally enjoyed although she is proud of every single woman who competed on the show. One of the matches that Natalya commented on was the SmackDown Women's Title match between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair and she had the following to say about that bout:
"I watched as my former archrival Charlotte Flair took on her former best friend, Becky Lynch, in one of the longest women matches in WWE history: a spectacular Last Woman Standing Match. Every stop was pulled, as there were tables, ladders, chairs, bodies being thrown through announce tables, fighting in the crowd and raw emotions during the match. Charlotte had tears streaming down her face as Becky powerbombed her through a table to win the match. I knew why Charlotte was crying. Many thought she was sad about defeat, but I knew she was crying tears of joy because glass ceilings were being shattered. We were finally doing it. The bar was being set high and we women had created a new standard of greatness in WWE." Nattie noted.
Natalya also offered her thoughts on watching her close friend Ronda Rousey main event the first-ever all-women's pay-per-view and gave both Ronda and Nikki their respective props while adding a note about both women as well.
"The main event saw the “Baddest Woman on the Planet,” “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey, take on the longest reigning Divas champion in WWE history, Nikki Bella. Their rivalry was heated and very personal. It was also especially hard for me to pick sides because, in reality, I respect both women greatly. Ronda has become a close friend to me and someone I see as having earned her place in our special world of women’s wrestling. I started my career with Nikki and her sister, Brie, more than a decade ago when we were hired by WWE in the very same week. We are like sisters in many ways, going through everything we could possibly go through together. Our bond is unbreakable." Natalya concluded.

On a related note, Ruby Riott who competed against Natalya at WWE 'Evolution' in that aforementioned six-woman tag match will be a part of Team RAW's women's Survivor Series team on Sunday.
