Punk's return to the company at the Survivor Series premium live event shocked many fans and wrestlers around the world. As it turns out, Punk's return to WWE also shocked a NBA Champion in Jeff Teague.

While speaking on the latest episode of the Club 520 podcast, Teague said that Punk's return gave him chills and that the moment is probably one of his top three favorite wrestling moments of all time.

“That was hard. On god bro, that’s probably the best — that’s number three. John Cena coming back was one of the top ones at WrestleMania. But that right there, that was hard. And he came back in Chicago, that shit was rocking, I ain’t gonna lie. I was watching that show, I lowkey got chills. People gonna call me weird for that.”

Throughout his entire career in the NBA, Teague played for the Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers, and Milwaukee Bucks. Teague was selected to the 2015 NBA All-Star Team before going on to win a NBA Championship with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021.
